Tiffany & Co. | Blue is the Color of Love | New York , Los Angeles & Vancouver
Tiffany & Co. wanted to drive the message that “Blue is the Color of Love” in a way that only they could. The stunt we developed was carefully designed to demonstrate the impact that Tiffany Blue has had on, and continues to cultivate in, generations of love stories. Beginning in New York with the Empire State Building (which forwent traditional red lighting on Valentine’s Day for the first time in history), we identified landmarks across North America with intrinsic connections to love and illuminated them for the world to see. Friend of Tiffany and iconic New Yorker Sarah Jessica Parker flipped the switch on the activation and (5) couples were treated to curated engagement experiences at the Empire State Building itself.
Beyond the Empires State Building, 30 Rockefeller Center and the Rockefeller Center Ice Rink, Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier, the Vancouver Art Gallery and Robson Square Ice Rink in Vancouver, British Columbia were all illuminated to pay tribute to these landmarks that have a rich history of inspiring and cultivating love.
On the ground at select locations we placed Tiffany & Co. flower stands featuring floral bouquets in custom Tiffany wraps emblazoned with the artwork Curtis Kulig created for the Valentine’s Day campaign for additional consumer engagement and social media photo opportunities.
